Halloween

On Halloween, I had to give kids some candy and treats. We gave out Spongebob candy. I watched scary movies with my grandma. I ate Harry Potter chocolate candy. About 3:00 we had dinner that grandma cooked. I ate mac and cheese, rice and biscuits. I really did not like the barbecue chicken that she had made. I saw the weatherman, Adam Joseph, on Action News at 6 with a halloween costume. He was dressed up as an invisible guy. I left grandma's about 8:25 pm. When I got home, I got ready for bed.

Voting People

The thing about voting is that you have to select republicans and candidates. On T.V, I saw a commercial with Jon Runyan running a farm because he did not share his property taxes. In May, you have primary elections and in November, you have candidates and republicans. We do not have school tomorrow for students. Vote Tuesday!

Pronouns: A Person Who Inspires Me

I think that Marcus Johnson inspires me. He always helps me with my work. He always proof reads my  work. Marcus and I play with each other in gym sometimes. I also think that Marcus is a handsome guy and he is a brave boy. Marcus and I love each other.

Verbs: Portfolio

My portfolio will showcase all of my hard work. I want to show my portfolio to my parents. A portfolio is a collection of my best work. My portfolio will also show how well I did in high school. I will include my blog in my portfolio folder.  I am going to have all those things in my portfolio this year.

Letter to New Student

Dear New Student, In our class room, We do a lot of stuff what the teacher tells us what to do. If there was a new student in my class, the new student would be shy and afraid sometimes. The new student would be a girl or a boy. I would say to the new student hello and say our names. I would also tell the new student how to protect yourselves from bullies. I would tell the new student how do you get and lose points they are not  on task. That is my story of my new student.

My Situation With My Mom From Last Year

I had a situation with my mom this summer about going to high school. I was telling my family that South Philly High School was hard. I had to get through it by calming down and persevere my way through. My story was about my situation with my mom. This was difficult because I had stress about going to a new school. I had a resolved dialogue with my mother. I got over my situation and I feel a lot better.  I like high school. I like my new class.
